I love heels, I do. But honestly, I admire them more than wear them. Most of mine just sit in my closet and look pretty. When I do wear them, I am always thinking to myself, "Why am I wearing these?" as after 15 minutes I am in excruciating pain and my calves are quivering. And yes, my ankles have actually cracked from wearing heels. I always admire Manhattan girls that are walking all over the city in 4" heels. I have a high threshold for pain but I guess just not that high.
Since city living requires walking a lot, I'm a sucker for sneakers. Except the wedge ones...I just can't do those. Again, it's the height.
