I HEART INA...TOO

The second that Grace Bonney of Design Sponge posted a shot of Chive and Parmesan Smashed Potatoes from Ina Garten's new cookbook, Make It Ahead, on Instagram I automatically clicked through to the blog to hear more and get the recipe. Firstly, it sounded delicious and second, I have a strong love for Ina Garten. I enjoyed hearing about how Grace has a love for her as well---albeit, not surprising. She is awesome. There are three recipes of Ina's that are always on heavy rotation in our kitchen. They are so delicious, comforting and not complicated. They are her: Croque Madame | Portobello Mushroom Lasagna  | Mussels in White Wine. These are 'tried-and-tried' dishes that I recommend adding to your library. I am excited to create the Chive and Parmesan Smashed Potatoes. I'll be making them at the end of this week when we host a game night at our place. They will accompany some hearty and homemade chili and cornbread. They'll also be accompanying Scattergories, Cards Against Humanity and Cranium!
