I always get giddy when I see pictures of Ellie Cashman's wallpaper. Her 'Dark Floral' is one of my all time favorite wallpaper designs. Inspired by Dutch floral paintings, her motto is, 'Anything But Still Life', which accurately represents the constant movement of flowers. I have yet to come across a commercial space in New York City that dons Ellie's wallpaper. A restaurant in Salt Lake City, named Finca, has Ellie's 'Dark Floral' print on display. Designed by, City Home Collective, I really wanted to dine at this tapas spot on our way to Park City last month to see the exquisite restaurant design in person---including Ellie's wallpaper. Unfortunately we did not have time to do so. For fans of Ellie's work, she will be expanding her collection to more than just wallpaper! Coming soon are fabrics, stationary and and fashion products.
