Veronica Etro honed the brand's expertise in prints to produce a vibrant collection for Spring 2015. With handkerchief hems, south west inspired beading, embroidery, feather touches and interesting color combinations [including the summer staple turquoise] Etro Spring 2015 encompassed an intense desert spirit. However, with the flowing draping and lightweight fabrics, I imagine the pieces to be comfortable to wear in the desert heat! The unexpected color combinations and intricate embroidery and patterns used for Etro's collection remind me of Coral and Tusk's amazing textiles. Based in Brooklyn, New York, Coral and Tusk offers many home goods that have a similar desert aesthetic to Etro Spring 2015. Intricate embroidery create playful motifs, including feathers, arrows and geometric patterns, on pillows, napkins and other home accessories.
