MAD ABOUT MUD CLOTH

Mud cloth, a fabric that has African origins and is traditionally dyed with fermented mud, has had an emergence in fashion, interiors and in event design. In depth information about mud cloth can be found in this Design Sponge article. With its dense nature and beautiful pattern, it is perfect for furniture upholstery. In terms of interior design, not only is it being seen on furniture but I recently stumbled upon the above image of it being used as a form of wall covering. Doesn't it look amazing? Check out my Instagram [@lifestyledbyserena] later today for an image of me sporting some mud cloth in a fashion capacity. Once you see my look, you'll be mad about mud cloth as well.
