REMINISCING WITH POPPIES & POSIES

I am so ready for Spring. Enough with this winter crap. I am looking forward warmer temps and wedding season again. I have been reminiscing about warmer times. Like this unbelievable wedding I was able to assist Poppies & Posies with at The Foundry last year. The details of this wedding were spectacular. Poppies & Posies did a stellar job with the flowers and all the event design details. I especially loved the topiary table numbers under the glass cloches and the gorgeous color palette of the flowers. They were all placed on these beautiful farm tables that were set-up in the outdoor area of The Foundry. Yeah, no one is dining alfresco on the East Coast right now. Michael Stuart New York catered the wedding and they placed small cutting boards at each place setting which was a lovely touch. The menu was printed on small kraft paper bags that contained rustic bread. Michael's team created a lavish charcuterie spread, [or as my friends and I like to call it a 'Sean Connery' spread], for just one of the many feast components. I'm a cured meats and cheese type of girl so my jaw definitely dropped when I saw this being assembled. I am looking forward to wedding season ramping up, the sun warming me up and playing a lot with flowers. Just a few weeks to go! To see more images of this wedding, visit the Poppies & Posies blog
