Perched atop Morocco's Atlas Mountains sits Sir Richard Branson's grand retreat, Kasbah Tamadot. Located a scenic 45 minute drive outside the bustling city of Marrakech, Kasbah Tamadot is a true gem. My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to stay at this luxury hideaway during our recent trip to the great country of Morocco. I had read about Kasbah Tamadot through social media outlets and so when we knew we were definitely going to Morocco for our vacation, I knew I had to stay there. During my social media encounters, I had seen images of the property's stunning 'Berber Tent' rooms---just one of Kasbah Tamadot's accommodation options. It was a must that we had to spend our stay in one of these tents. But it was the most luxurious tent that you will find in the world. The most beautiful furnishings you could find were all sitting in this tent. As well as a plush bed, large viewing deck, and large sinking tub. 'Glamping' in its finest form. The grounds of Kasbah Tamadot are vast and lush---a warm welcome to the busy city streets of Marrakech. Being a florist, I loved walking to and from our Berber Tent and seeing all the rose bushes, olive trees and jasmine-covered arches. The team at Kasbah Tamadot made sure that we had a really relaxing time during our stay which is what we were looking for after enduring multiple days of endless sightseeing and traveling. Ever since we left there, Bibin and I have not stopped talking about it and we have become jealous of Europeans who can easily do a weekend getaway there since they are in such close proximity to Morocco!
