I have been wearing caftans for a long time. When we visit India, they are perfect for sleeping in and lounging around the house. But since last summer, I have been wearing caftans out and around the city because they are so light and comfortable to wear in the unbearable heat. They were a staple when we were on vacation in Morocco as we faced temps as high as 105 degrees. The ones in my closet were made by my Mom. She transformed her old cotton saris into caftans for me. I love them so much I am having her make me some more! The ones shown here are long but I have some shorter ones too. If you want to keep cool in caftans I have found some for you.
