I want every single piece from Gucci's Resort 2016 Collection. Literally, every piece. The guys and girls that walked down the runway looked like they were straight from 'The Royal Tenenbaums' set. Several fashion collections for Fall 2015, like Bally, are inspired by Margot Tenenbaum and by looking at Gucci's Resort 2016 collection, the Wes Anderson craze isn't slowing down. Each look is so fresh and quirky with a blend of satins, velvets, chiffon and lace in colors like bubble gum pink, navy and mustard. The interesting pairings of prints and colors made it the stand out collection for me for Resort 2016. The overt eccentricities of Alessandro Michele's collection pair well with the distinctive rooms above that look like they could be from a Wes Anderson movie. They have gallery walls with a unique assortment of art work mounted on unusual paint color mixed with clashing floor coverings and an occasional prop thrown in. So dreamy. Make your home the next Grand Budapest Hotel and then swaddle yourself in Gucci Resort 2016.
